A Winning Smile

It has always been my dream to meet a stranger while travelling somewhere even before I saw Hello, Stranger. I want to spend a day or two with a man who is completely clueless of who I am. I thought I was being too ambitious for wanting this much and I never thought it could happen in real life but this story (click the link) proved me otherwise. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time! Definitely, a must read!

I realized just last year that I can never work efficiently without a planner or piece of paper, and a pen in hand. Sure there are a lot of digital planners, to-dos and sticky notes available in our laptops and PDA phones but nothing really works for me like a planner does. There’s a never ending list of things that run through my mind every single day and no matter how I try to save it as a note in my phone/laptop, my mind will never stop thinking about it unless I write it down. My 2012 Moonleaf planner have acquired specks of dirt from my ever-so-clean bag after a month of usage so I decided to cover it up with a blue pattern paper. I knew I should have bought the planner in black instead.

I cannot even begin to describe how much I love taking portraits for they best convey the message, be it happy or sad, that the photographer wants his viewers to see in his photograph. I took this photo on our batch party December last year. I asked three of my friends to smile for my camera but Maica (center) being Maica fooled around and started tickling my other friends’ armpits and so that’s how this photo came about.

Almost got hit by a car but I don’t mind

I will never ever forget this day because my crush stared at me for, I’d like to think, the longest 30 seconds of my life! I was crossing the street when I saw that he was driving towards my direction. He looked at me while still driving and I didn’t know what to do or react so my natural reaction was to stop in the middle of the pedestrian lane (stupid, I know). I swear it was like those scenes directly from a movie when you see the boy of your dreams and everything else starts to move in slow motion. My heart was beating real fast, yet my eyes stayed focused on him. I am not even kidding here. See, I stopped.in.the.middle.of.the.road. Who does that even? I almost got hit by a car but I don’t mind. ♥

Today in my eventful life

Suddenly, my safety lock key is not working so I’m stuck here in our garage doing this post. The good thing about my situation, though, is I can access our wifi! And guess what? It’s waaaay faster than the usual but I cannot explain why.

Oh well, I still have to wait for about an hour for my Daddy with, hopefully, working keys.

One of the rare times that I am actually in a video as I usually am the one capturing it. Fun times with three of my closest friends (Maica, Meeren and Heide) plus Meeren’s boyfriend, Patrick last December. It was a hella great day even if we were only five. The best ride was Rio Grande since we tried saving the huge monkey stuffed toy from getting wet. Ended the night playing digital Pinoy Henyo while in line for the Wheel Fate, which we rode after the fireworks display ended, then rode the Carousel and went home to my second home a.k.a. Maica’s house. I wish we could do this again this next year!
